Zuri Quilting Guild Blessing of the Quilts

I lack the words to adequately express the beauty and love that has gone into the crafting of these glorious quilts! Each quilt tells a different story and exhibits a variety of styles. Textiles are such a wonderful medium to use to tell a story with the multitude of colors and patterns combined with embroidery, appliqué and other embellishments are unlimited. Anyone that was not able to attend missed a wonderful celebration.

The women of Zuri are so talented (gots skills😄)! Quilters of any skill level are welcome to join us the 2nd Saturday of each month at the American Baptist College from 11am -2pm.

Blessing of the Quilts!

This is a very special Zuri event in which the gifted baby quilts are blessed before being passed on. This is also a time to celebrate the anniversary of Zuri’s creation and see quilts on display. If you have the time to stop by, please do so, we would love to see you!
